I've been an NP for over 17 years and am passionate about helping women navigate peri/menopause and all the changes that can occur around as early as your 30's. (That's a lot of years to potentially have symptoms!). I've gone through many of these symptoms myself and it's amazing how much better you can actually feel when you optimize hormones, vitamins, and metabolism! If you are frustrated with “normal labs” but you just don't feel like yourself. You are a women aged 30-64. You are experiencing: Brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, irritability, poor sleep, feel like "something is off." You are gaining weight despite “doing everything right." You feel tired of being dismissed or offered antidepressants or birth control. You want answers, a plan that makes sense, a provider who listens, and a clear path forward, not endless appointments with no concrete answers.
We do not bill insurance for services. We intentionally operate outside of insurance to provide you with longer, unhurried visits, comprehensive lab interpretation, individualized treatment strategies, ongoing support and continuity of care. This model allows us to focus on what you need, not what insurance dictates.
Sage Health has discounted labs through Quest Diagnostics. You may still use insurance if you know you only have a copay for labs. Medication can be sent to a commercial pharmacy, but we also use compounding pharmacies. This is your patient choice.
We can also generate a Super Bill if needed, which you can send to your insurance and possibly be reimbursed.
No. Labs are ordered based on what you need and what you haven't had done recently. I am looking at optimal levels (not what is normal for "50% of the population."). You will have labs completed at a Quest Diagnostics near you. I will bill you separately for labs because Quest gives Sage Health discounted rates. These will be billed to you separately in the follow up visit.
I can send labs through insurance as well if you are well covered.
Sage Health & Wellness is currently a telemedicine practice, with plans to expand to a hybrid model in the near future as the practice grows.
Yes, all services and treatment plans/memberships qualify.
When appropriately prescribed and monitored, BHRT is safe and effective. We use evidence-based protocols and regular follow-up. Bioidentical hormones are chemically identical to those produced by the human body (derived from plant sources). This molecular match allows for better absorption, metabolism, and fewer side effects compared to synthetic options. They offer customized, patient-specific dosing.
Unfortunately, I am unable to see Medicare patients at this time.
After you have labs drawn and we discuss them at your follow up visit (included in consult cost) --a personalized treatment plan is created for you (See Drop Down Menu for Program descriptions). For the first 6 months, we check in frequently (visits every 4-8 weeks), as starting new medication and tweaking hormones can take some time to adjust dosages that are right for you. After 6 months, your body begins to stabilize and you will need less follow up because you will be feeling so much better! At that time, our monthly pricing decreases with ongoing prescription refills and twice yearly labs/follow up.
Not exactly. While we provide personalized, membership-based care similar to concierge medicine, our focus is specifically on hormone, metabolic, and midlife health optimization.
Yes! Many of our patients come to us through word of mouth, and we truly appreciate those referrals. When you refer a friend, family member or colleague who completes an initial consultation and becomes an active patient, you'll receive a special one-month membership rate as our thank you!
